AI69 Production — Detailed Estimate

Where the price of an AI clip comes from

Three tiers, three levels of tooling. Below is a line-by-line budget for each: hours, models, and what it actually costs.

Format: music video / brand film Currency: USD Valid for: 30 days from date issued
What sets the price

Four variables — not a gut-feel quote

Pricing a clip isn't guesswork. It's a function of four inputs, all fixed inside each tier — which is why the price is one number for the whole clip, not a per-second rate.

01

Runtime

The clip is cut to the full track length — it isn't a separate variable inside a tier.

02

Model stack

A fast single model vs. a top-tier stack (Seedance 2.0 + Veo 3.1 + Kling 2.5) — an order of magnitude apart on generation cost.

03

Quality bar

How many takes get re-run before a shot clears QC — that's what supervision hours actually pay for.

04

Usage rights

Organic social posting and paid media/broadcast are different licenses, priced differently.

Packages

Starter · Pro · Premium

All three deliver a finished clip cut to your track (typically 3–5 minutes) with the full cycle: script, storyboard, character/style bible for consistency. What actually changes between tiers is which models shoot it and how deep the iteration goes.

Same structure of work across all three: creative development → production → tools. Each budget below is for that tier's typical clip. Labor rate is the same everywhere — $50/hr blended (writer, director, prompt engineer, editor rolled into one).

Why the gap between tiers isn't linear

Creative development is in all three packages and grows slowly — 6.5 → 10.5 → 15 hours, only a 2.3× spread. It's the same work every time: script, storyboard, character consistency. Skip it and the footage falls apart at any budget, which is why we don't strip it out of Starter.

Tooling cost climbs a lot faster than creative-development cost across the tiers — with each tier up, we move to more demanding models and run more takes per shot to keep the character and world consistent from frame to frame. That's what drives the gap between tiers: it reflects volume and depth of work, not a different way of working.

Starter is a deliberately accessible way in: same methodology and process as the higher tiers, just a faster stack and fewer takes per shot. Pro and Premium add more demanding models and deeper work on every frame — and the scope of work grows with them.

Choosing a tier is choosing an outcome, not "pay more or pay less": a social hypothesis gets shot on a fast stack with fewer takes, a big-screen release gets the top stack with maximum depth on every shot.

What we need from you

The track (the edit is cut to the music), mood/visual references, a brief on the lead character — a likeness photo if needed.

What counts as a revision

Adjusting the edit, color, or individual shots within the approved script is covered by a round. Changing the concept itself is a new estimate.

How length works

The clip is cut to your full track (typically 3–5 min). The tier price is fixed. For clips substantially longer than ~6 min, we quote separately.

Questions

FAQ

Why does this cost more than just typing a prompt into Kling?

One prompt gives you one take with a random outcome. Every shot here goes through multiple regenerations, manual selection, and gets stitched into one coherent visual world — that's the actual gap between "AI generated it" and "we shot a video."

Why does every tier get a full storyboard, not just Premium?

Without a storyboard and consistency references, the character and world drift between shots at any budget. It isn't an upsell — it's the minimum condition for a coherent video instead of a pile of random clips.

What actually separates Starter from Pro and Premium if it's the same process?

The model stack and the depth of the work. Starter is an accessible way in. Pro and Premium bring more demanding models and more iteration on every shot.

How long does this take?

3–4 days (Starter) up to 10–14 days (Premium), revision rounds included. Rush delivery is an add-on if you need it faster.
